Welcome to Ogallala

Ogallala is the westernmost Kildare Lumber Company store. Located just south of scenic Lake McConaughy, Ogallala was founded primarily as a railroad hub and a destination for cattle drivers.

Kildare Lumber Company opened its Ogallala branch in 1965, and quickly grew. In 1999, Kildare Lumber Company opened a new, expanded store in Ogallala, featuring a more efficient layout, and auto-stack lumber bins. Ogallala is currently the largest Kildare branch.
